We just got back from a beautiful weekend on the NC coast, playing the Front Porch Music Festival in Oriental and The Whiskey in Wilmington. We were blown away by the warm welcome and hospitality in both places, and can’t wait to return! We also came back to find our kickstarter for our debut album is 84 percent funded! We had a great time playing in the Pickin’ in the Plaza Summer Series in Raleigh! We even got into this sweet little writeup about it. Catch us at the Cat’s Cradle Back Room this Saturday July 23rd with one of our favorite bands, Magnolia Still! The doors open at 7pm, and we start the show at 8! Oh, and here’s a cute little pic of the Magpie Honeys hanging out in Duke Forest.
We have two shows coming up this June! The first one will be at Mystery Brewing Company in beautiful, quaint Hillsborough, NC. Join us there June 10th! Show starts at 9pm with Dex Romweber opening. Then, join us again June 25th at 5pm for an evening of music at the Honeysuckle Tea House in Chapel Hill, NC. We’ll have some recorded music to give out to you as well! We had a great time playing our first Hillsborough show. Mystery Brewing Company is one of our new favorite places! We had an amazing time opening for Driftwood at the Cat’s Cradle Back Room! Thank you to everyone who came out, and thank you to all the Driftwood fans that were super supportive of us. Our next show is in Hillsborough at Mystery Brewing Company, January 9th at 8:30 PM. We hope to see you there! We might have some Honey Magpie T-shirts by then as well.

Here’s an illustration of the awesome stage we got to play on at Shakori Hills Grassroots Festival! We had a great time playing for you all, and we loved looking out and seeing you all dancing with umbrellas.
